This video was created by OEPA to show what is happening to vertical/traditional wells in Oklahoma.
We have no issues with horizontal fracking; until the high volume, high pressure frack jobs break into our vertical wells. Ninety percent of the time when that happens the vertical well is lost. Seventy-five percent of the time (on average) when a horizontal well is within a quarter of a mile from a vertical well in the same production formation, the vertical well is hit by the horizontal frack job.
It’s never right to take or destroy someone else’s property.
